Meet Orun!
My Vision
I do not like to simply stand on the sideline feeding balls and giving occasional feedback. I love to be involved in drills and games with the players. Why? I always felt that when my coaches were involved, and I mean really involved, I had more fun as a player. I want my players to have that experience.
About Me
Inspired to pick up a racket by Kei Nishikori, a former world number 4 player,
I started playing tennis at the age of 12. I became a tennis professional as a teenager.
I have coached at academy level and club level, both group and private lessons.
Having lived in Japan for a while, I speak Japanese fluently and a little bit of Turkish.
I currently attend UCLA, majoring in Economics. I have internship experience in different fields, including business administration and analysis, at organizations like IMG Academy.
My hobbies include watching other sports (ice hockey, soccer, etc.)
and exploring Los Angeles!

Currently, I endorse the Tecnifibre T-Fight 300s strung with Razor Soft.
I have been with Tecnifibre since the beginning of 2024 season.

I also use Tourna overgrips. Depending on the heat and humidity, I switch between Tourna Tac and Mega Tac.
